COACH GREG

Online Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach

Getting and staying in shape has never been easy for me. After losing 40 pounds in high school, I spent two decades trying to “out-exercise” my diet, then another 5 years testing out all the latest nutrition fads (Note: None of these were the answer!).

Finally, I did something I never thought I’d do: I hired a health coach.

It was a total game changer and an answer to prayer. With the help of my coach, I finally found the path to a sustainable life of health and fitness and at the age of 40 managed to get in the best shape of my life!

In fact, my coaching experience was so life-changing that I decided to shift careers and become a health coach myself! With a foundation of faith, a background in teaching, and now certifications through the American Council on Exercise and Precision Nutrition, it’s my goal to help others be the happy, healthy, and holy saints God is calling them to be.

Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve struggled for years to get and stay healthy, I’m  here for you! Having a partner on your journey is an investment in yourself that I believe you will find to be absolutely worth it.

Fun Facts About Me:

  1.  I’m married to my college sweetheart with 4 awesome kids, 2 fun cats, and 7 silly chickens. We live in Minnesota, but I was born and raised in Iowa (Go Hawks!).

  2. My favorite saint is John Paul the Great, who played a big part in my reversion to the faith in college.

  3. I received my B.A. in Theology from The University of St. Thomas (MN), my Masters in Education from Notre Dame, and spent a year discerning the priesthood and studying philosophy at Mundelein Seminary.

  4. I taught middle school religion for 14 years at Catholic schools in Texas and  Minnesota before taking a break in 2019.

  5.  Exercise is one of the best presents I give to myself on a regular basis. I love running, walking (even when it’s minus 20 degrees here in Minnesota!), using playgrounds for workouts, and most especially CrossFit, which never fails to challenge me.
